چکیده

Mastitis is diseases of dairy cows with a high economic impact. Bovine mastitis caused by wide range bacterial pathogens. As one the major environmental pathogens Klebsiella ssp. was investigated in this study some phenotypic characteristics like antibiotic resistance patterns and biofilm formation properties. A number 483 farms around Konya were examined California Test (CMT) producing 36 positive terms subclinical mastitis. further 19 samples from clinical mastitic udders also collected. Samples inoculated onto Trypticase Soy Agar medium enriched sheep blood incubated aerobicaly for 24-48 hours at 37 °C. By morphological, biochemical cultural charcateristics 14 isolates out coliform identified as The double disc synergy method Congo Red test used to perform susceptibility vitro slime forming properties, respectively. Resistances antibiotics Ampicillin, Carbenicillin, Cephotaxime, Chloramphenicol, Erythromycin, Gentamicin, Neomycin, Oxytetracycline, Sulphamethoxazole/Trimpethoprim, Amoxicillin-Clavulanate Imipenem 78.5%, 35.7%, 42.8%, 100%, 7%, 50%, 14%, 21% Three total isolets produced only. This appears first report on ESBL ssp cases bovine Konya, Türkiye. Presently, two numbers antimicrobial combinations treat are recommended work. In conclusion, because costly challange nature implemantation an effective control program should be local Konya.

Frequency of specific agr groups and antibiotic resistance in Staphylococcus aureus isolated from bovine mastitis in the northeast of Iran

Staphylococcus aureus is generally regarded as a leading cause of mastitis in dairy cattle. The aim of this study was to investigate the pattern of agr groups and any possible relationship between agr groups and antibiotic resistance among S. aureus strains isolated from bovine mastitis in Northeast of Iran. For this purpose, a total of 300 bovine mastitic mi...

A high prevalence of tylosin resistance among Staphylococcus aureus strains isolated from bovine mastitis

The macrolides appear to have considerable effects for treatment of bovine mastitis because of excellent diffusion into the mammary gland, long half-life, low protein binding, high intracellular concentration and lipid solubility. Acquired resistance to macrolides in Staphylococcus aureus is primarily related to target-site modification through acquisition of an erm gene. In t...

Antibiotic Susceptibility and Plasmid Profiles of Staphylococcus aureus Strains Isolated from Bovine Subclinical Mastitis in Tabriz, Iran

ABSTRACT        Background and Objectives: Mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus is a widely distributed disease in cattle, goats and sheep. The infection is often subclinical in cattle, leading to reduced milk production and quality, but acute catarrhal or even gangrenous inflammation may also occur. The aim of this study was to investigate resistance of S. au...

Investigation of the Relationship between Antibiotic Resistance and Biofilm Production in Klebsiella pneumoniae Isolated from Hamadan Hospitals, Iran

Background and Objective: The role of biofilm formation by bacteria has been considered as an important stage in the pathogenesis of Klebsiella pneumoniae. This pathogen is one of the most important opportunistic pathogen agents of nosocomial infections, such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, invasive infections, and surgical site infections. This study aimed to investigate the biofilm pr...

Evaluation of Antibiotic Resistance and Biofilm Formation Ability Uropathogenic E. coli (UPEC) Isolated From Pregnant Women in Karaj

Background and Objective: Uropathogenic Escherichia coli (UPEC) are the most common cause of urinary tract infections. The binding of these bacteria to epithelial cells and the formation of biofilms cause these bacteria to be further colonized and difficult to remove in the urinary tract. This study aimed to determine the antibiotic resistance and to evaluate the biofilm formation power in Esch...
